Every single post I see when people compare them to other brands mentions Engenius with higher failure rates than all other brands.Unifi is great. They do have software quality control issues. If you disable auto update on your controller and pay attention to the release threads in the UniFi forums and only update when it's safe you'll be very happy. You have to do a little bit of work and research updates is the key.
Ubiquiti Firewalls are complete trash as others have said. You might as well use your ISP router! lol. This is coming from someone who LOVES their Wireless backhaul and P2P stuff, and Wifi.
